Embrace fusion technology with ease. Effortlessly introduce entry level fusion for sample processing workflows.
The X-100 produces reliable glass disks (fusion beads) for X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis by preparing homogeneous, reproducible samples from a wide range of inorganic materials. The X-100 can be used to create dissolved metal solutions (including peroxide or pyrosulfate fusions with modification) for inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES and ICP-MS) analysis.
The X-100’s gas-free design eliminates the need for combustible gases, reducing fire risk and simplifying laboratory infrastructure. Its electrically controlled heating ensures stable, reproducible fusion conditions with minimal thermal variability, enhancing analytical precision and operational reliability.
Sample types include soil, alloys, slag, minerals, ceramics, glass, and cement.
- Unparalleled consistent sample preparation for XRF (beads) or ICP analysis (solution)
- Limited footprint minimizes disruptions to existing lab processes and simplifies site setup requirements
- Smallest X series footprint available, perfect site restrictive pilot process development
- User-friendly interface–easily navigate operations with illuminated process indicators and an intuitive touch screen
- Pre-loaded with fusion methods that are ready to use but can also be fully customized
Resilient
- Heating elements can be individually changed and are impervious to both flux and chemical attacks. They maintain their structural integrity and do not become brittle over time.
- Entirely automated, cold-to-cold preparation
- The furnace heats to the required temperature in less than 15 minutes
- Independent self-contained operation with fully automated heating and sample processing
- Featuring CPLive™ networking functions
- Compact footprint enables effortless integration into virtually any laboratory workspace
- Strict use of ceramic eliminates metal contamination
- Impervious to flux and other chemical projections
- Cartridge type for easy replacement
- Industrial PLC interface (does not depend on Windows updates)
- Works on 115 or 230 VAC single-phase power (3-phase not required)
- No external power supplies, cooling fluids or gas lines
