The X-300 provides reproducible preparation of a wide range of difficult-to-process materials.

Fusion of milled sample material with flux reagent is achieved under high temperatures in inert platinum sample crucibles. Automated sample handling provides a cold to cold process in an isolated chamber where the samples are heated to extreme temperatures to achieve breakdown and uniform fusion of the sample material. This consistent and repeatable process can produce either a homogenous XRF glass bead or acidic solution for ICP analysis. The innovative sample fusion process is unique to Katanax equipment and can be scaled to support even greater capacity using the X-600.
